Elizabeth A. Pinto          Professional Profile
 

Elizabeth Pinto was born in Endicott, New York and currently resides in
Clifton New Jersey.

Elizabeth began her Bachelor Studies in Theology at the Pontificium
Athenaeum Antonianum University in Rome, Italy. After three years she
returned to the United States and completed her BA in Religious Studies at
Seton Hall University. She received the Religious Studies Department
Citation Award and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Elizabeth then pursued a
Montessori Teaching Certification. The first ten years of her educational
career were spent as a teacher and administrator in a Montessori Early
Childhood and Primary School. Elizabeth continued her education and
received a Masters Degree in Administration and Supervision graduating
Magna Cum Laude from Seton Hall University. As an administrator,
Elizabeth assumed leadership positions at all levels of education, from Early
Childhood through High School.  As an adjunct professor at Bloomfield
College, she instructed students in the Teacher Training Program. Elizabeth
is a strong believer in life-long learning and therefore is currently pursuing a
Doctoral Degree in the Leadership, Management and Policy, Ed.D Program
at Seton Hall University She is a member of the Kappa Delta Pi
International Honor Society in Education and is affiliated with various
professional educational organizations.

Elizabeth has leadership experience in both the Public and Catholic School
sectors. Her affinity to Catholic Education and Faith Formation of children
has lead her to St. Leo’s where she will assume the principalship of the
parish elementary school.
